Getting the network and IT infrastructure right is absolutely critical, its the foundation that everything at Reapit sits on and enables us to help our clients improve their day to day businesses. As such it is the single biggest point of failure for companies and I’ve lost count of the times over the years that perfectly capable businesses have been hamstrung by an IT company that hasn’t fulfilled its side of the bargain.
Whether through incompetence or over promising its an occupational hazard for a ‘non techie’ to have to decipher the harsh, acronym heavy world of IT. Cloud Shepherd and Kristian in particular are the remedy to this out-dated approach, having the ability to cut through the bullshit and relay often complex solutions in an easy to understand manner. I haven’t the faintest idea what goes on under the hood of my car, and so for me its vital that when my car needs attention that I’ve found the right engineer that I can trust to do the job. Cloud Shepherd have fit that role perfectly for many of our clients over the years and knowing the people there for almost ten years I’ve never heard a bad word from within Reapit or indeed any of our mutual clients about them.
I’ve lost count of the amount of times that Cloud Shepherd have gone out of their way to find a solution beyond the call of duty and certainly beyond what was contracted, but that’s one of those areas that gives you the confidence you’re partnering with the right consultant. Coupled with an understanding of using technology for a benefit to the business rather than just for technologies sake is another of their assets that helps them demonstrate ROI where many IT companies even struggle with the concept of giving a return on investment.
If you’ve been guilty as I was of saying ‘All techies are the same’ give Cloud Shepherd a ring and make sure this vital area of your business gets the service it deserves.
